Indian Lotus Quilt-60"X90"

The idea behind this collection was to merge the spiritual and serene qualities of the Lotus flower, with the opulence and visual intrigue of the Moroccan tiles.  This melting pot offers this unique blend of aesthetics, with green colour resonating the positive symbolism of the Lotus and the different shades of pink, complexity and depth of intricate Moroccan tiles.  These two powerful motifs come together to created a beautiful hand-block printed home furnishing range comprising of bedspreads, quilts, pillow covers, cushion covers and dohars.

The quilts available in three sizes, in fine cotton are block printed with different design on the front and the back and hedged with borders. They have pure cotton filling and are painstakingly hand quilted with a patterned running stitch. This technique is traditional and time consuming, the results however are stunning.
